50th Wedding Anniversary
Jim and Etta White of Widefield celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on May 1st. They were married in the First Methodist Church in Colorado Springs.
They spent ten days in Maui, Hawaii, and renewed their vows on the beach at sunset. Their daughter Connie sang "The Hawaiian Wedding Song", which was very meaningful. Their daughter Sue read a very nice poem. Granddaughter Hannah was "Flower Girl and Official Bubble Blower". She is very special. Rev. Russell Langly performed the Vow Renewal Ceremonies. Their other daughter Karen was unable to join them. They were joined by other friends and family. "What a perfect, Awesome Day and a most Beautiful Sunset."
